Daily activity:
Thursday 19th.: water temp 62.1 SSE 5-8mph in the a.m. / 63.3 SSE 10-14mph in the p.m. The water was clean. There were few bluefish caught throughout the Day. Noah got a couple of small Flounder on live bait. Brenda, George and several others did well on Squid very early morning and after sunset they were thick. Shane and George did very well after 8:00pm. Jack decked a 17” Pompano.



Friday: water temp 63.0 SSE 2-7mph in the a.m. / 64.4 S 8-10 mph in the p.m. The water was dirty in the shallows and Bay Water with a lot of floating debris at the end. There were a few Spanish Mackerel caught. Steve M. got a couple of Pompano. Brandon M. got a Red Drum a couple of inches over slot. There were a few Squid in the very early morning.


Saturday: water temp 63.9 SE 5-8mph in the a.m. / 65.5 SW 5-10mph in the p.m. The water was silty. There were a few Squid but otherwise very slow.
Sunday: water temp 64.2 N 12-22mph in the a.m. / early afternoon the wind was strong and gusting to 34MPH then at 5:00pm the water was 63.1 degrees with 18-27mph wind. There were several Bonita caught in the early morning. The water was trashed by evening-very dirty. We have a couple of low 30’s nighttime temps so the water will cool more. The high today was 57.
Monday: water temp 57.0 NNW 12-18mph in the a.m. / 58.5 NNW 13-18 in the p.m. The water was still dirty. There were a few Bluefish caught in the morning.
Tuesday: water temp 55.9 N 4-7mph in the a.m. / 59.9 WSW 6-12mph in the p.m. The water was Clean most of the day but silted a little by late afternoon. Several Bluefish were caught. Mike H. got two Pompano and Steve W. got one. Jack decked a 34-inch Red Drum. A few Squid were caught in the morning.

Wednesday 25th.: water temp 59.5 SSW 14-17mph in the a.m. / 60.5 11-14mph in the p.m. The water was clean at the end but a little silty from the sand bar to the beach. There were a couple of Bluefish and a small Flounder in the morning. A visiting angler got a Black Drum in the afternoon. Kim got a small Flounder about 4:00.
Red Tide status: In Northwest Florida over the past week, K. brevis was observed at background to very low concentrations in six samples collected from Bay County.
